If I did that I wouldnt post at all!
I always think forwards are easier to drop in when young than defenders, I made the same comments on Hill (although have to admit to looking like i was wrong there, but jury still out as he hasnt been properly tested yet)
20 is very young for a central defender, so unless he is exceptional he wont be the silver bullet you are looking for. Particularly when you are looking for the mainstay of your defence. Baily Wright much more what you are looking for.
Any more on Findlay? I woudl guess not having the Nisbet cash will scupper that, given Oxford paid a fee in the summer and have him on decent length of contract.

Laddie played under Pep for City in Champions League, would say that would be easier surrounded with quality though. Lots of speculation still flying about regarding us, I believe at the weekend Hibs expected a bid from Wigan for Campbell but unless it’s mental won’t go, Nisbet will likely stay now to summer and Wigan bid half of what Millwall offered. Wigan however may well get Henderson and a rumour JDH will be away which if true gives us a chance in the Williams rumour. Also one more of the youngsters may be away. And conflicting stories over Findlay so may run for a bit yet. |

Plenty of rumours doing the rounds, lots of young players with very little experience , could be a make or break situation. Imo too many loans to add any stability to sides

Just for balance Demi Mitchell and Michael Stewart played for strong Man U teams! Im probably being cynical, but when Hearts have signed a young loanee from an EPL superpower, they have tended to be crap, particularly in defence. But he may come good. Interesting Maloney is signing players who got him sacked previously. I get that he knows them and knows they are probably fairly cheap, but they didnt exactly rip up trees for him last year. Interesting that they aren't taking Humphrys back, if JDH & Campbell are the level he is looking at i cant see why he wouldn't, good news for us though. I would think getting cash in will be the decider on who comes in too. Always a juggling act. Im happy if there is no more news from Tyncastle, dont think we are desperately needing anyone and want to keep who we have currently. |

Hoppe looks a decent signing for Hibs, which is just as well as looks like Nisbet has crocked himself again. Rumour is a bid was accepted from Wigan and the yank signed before Wigan pulled out due to his injury.
Tony Watt on the move again, he should be on a 6 month contract everywhere he goes, usually looks awesome fir 10 games then somehow melts. United paid a fee a yr ago then just let him leave

The talk of this window has been Callum Paterson's potential return to Gorgie, but a few Jambos are looking back on a few former maroon men to come back, too...
Jake: I think what we have been missing is someone who can come off the bench and get goals out of nothing. A player who has been constantly hitting the back of the net this season is former Tynecastle Park favourite Craig Wighton. Hopefully Savage and Neilson are looking at a return for him given his form for Dunfermline lately.
Cherice: After the season ending injury to Craig Gordon, would love to see a backup keeper coming in. Zander Clark has done so well since deputising for Gordon, but worried we're lack in that department. Would be happy to see Joel Pereira back at the club on a temporary basis. Was well loved here last time following his loan spell from Man United.
Andrew: I’m all for giving people second chances and believe Aidy White deserves one with Hearts! Struggled for goals and assists at wing back and he’s someone who could come in and hit the ground running and secure third place. Would be a real statement signing and show the rest of the league we mean business.
Stuart: Would love for Hearts to bring Morgaro Gomis back to the club. Thought he was outstanding during his first spell and especially in the game on Sunday against Livingston which was 0-0 we missed that bit of creativity he could bring to set up chances
