Dundee are set to make a dramatic u-turn and vote yes to the SPFL resolution.
If they do, it will consign Partick Thistle and Stranraer to relegation with Hearts likely to follow, while Celtic, rivals Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Sevco will all be crowned champions, the latter three being promoted.
According to the Daily Record, Dundee and their managing director John Nelms have moved from their position on Friday when they submitted a no vote.
However, the confirmation of their choice was not received by the SPFL straight away, and before it did land with the governing body the Dens Park club communicated to inform the organisation not to count their vote.
The SPFL had released a statement early on Friday evening revealing the state of play and which showed Dundee’s choice would be the deciding factor. The 75 per cent threshold for the resolution to be passed had been met in the Premiership and Leagues One and Two, but not in the Championship.
A no vote would have scuppered the resolution.
They are now expected to vote yes with a meeting likely today which would allow clubs to receive prize money from the SPFL, with the club still pushing for league reconstruction.

So If true, these Dundonian numpties have been bought off with promises of money spinning games against who, exactly? Sevco or Hearts? Aye right!
Could it be Aberdeen or Hibs? Possibly, but I'd very much doubt it. Or perhaps it's their 'about to be promoted' neighbours? Again, I'd be surprised if it was.
Or what about the remaining SPL teams? Nah, that lot couldn't muster up a decent crowd collectively.
Let me see, who does that leave? Maybe Peter Lawwell could enlighten us.
And of course there's the uncertainty of when the current crisis recedes enough to allow crowds at any sporting event.
To be honest, I'm utterly pissed of with this whole saga. I really do hope they call it, and demote us. And I'm using the word demote, because demotion is what it would be. And that, for all it's worth, would be a breach of league rules. And if our club feel they need to take some sort of legal action, so be it. I hope not.
Let Sevco continue their crusade on "sporting integrity". Oh the fucking irony.
Let all the those other clubs who, like turkeys, voted for Christmas. I hope they enjoy what, for many of them, will be temporary stay of financial execution.
As for Hearts, I'm hopeful we will survive this. We have a fan base that, in my opinion, is second to none.
So let's enjoy our escape from those bigoted morons from Darkheid and Mordor. Let us enjoy our short break from the SPL. Let us look forward to crossing swords once again with our Lochend rivals, and let us once again, in the not too distant future, know that feeling of world domination.
That, of course, is assuming there's going to be a football world to dominate.
Can't remember ever typing so much shite.
