Interesting to note that he came on as a sub at Right Back at the weekend. he's been playing as a striker but to no great effect. Like when he was with us. The season he was a striker he scored 4 goals. When we moved him back to wing back he scored 11 in half a season.

Robbie Neilson responds to rumours of Hearts interest in Callum Paterson.
Hearts are seeking to bring Callum Paterson back to Tynecastle.
Head coach Robbie Neilson revealed the Scottish internationalist is high up the list of targets as we creep closer to the opening of the January transfer window.
Speculation has been rife online regarding a return for the 28-year-old utility man, who spent the first seven years of his professional career in Gorgie before making the switch down south.
It is understood Hearts are in the market for another wide player to compete for a spot on the right of Neilson’s preferred 3-4-3 formation, while they could also do with further options in attack with Stephen Humphrys the only experienced alternative to leading goalscorer Lawrence Shankland up front. Paterson operated at both positions during his initial spell with the club.

This young guy is a highly rated young striker and both Sevco and Celtic want him. It makes you wonder whether it’s worth having an academy when other teams are allowed to take their pick of the best ones and pay us sweeties. £50k is the rumour.
We’ve also got his two younger brothers in our academy so watch this space.

Still got 5 players on the sidelines, although Humphries is close, but Haring, Beni, Boyce, Atkinson, GMS all still unavaible for next week despite having nearly 5 weeks off, do we think this will have an impact on our activity in the window?

Agree, good news, we have only realised what he did for the team when he has been out.
The line on sfa sign off is wierd, why would that be needed for an already contracted player and why mention it?

Just a side note, we were linked heavily with Connor Ronan in the summer, he went back to Wolves but has only played 1 game so far. He is contracted until summer 2024, but may well be available in the summer and cant have a huge value given how little he has played.
